Terms & cancellations

These draft pages are not a compliance certification or final contractual terms. CueStem’s legal operator name and business address, processing arrangements and younger-user safeguards still require confirmation before these notices are finalised.
These proposed terms describe CueStem’s service and consumer-rights considerations. They are not yet final contractual terms or a waiver of statutory rights.
Provider and eligibility
The service trades as CueStem at cuestem.com. The legal operator name, business address and country must be supplied before these terms become final. Contact: admin@cuestem.com.
Younger users are intended to be supported, but minimum-age and parental-authorisation requirements remain under review. Under-age users should not register until eligibility is confirmed. Paid purchases by minors require review of local contract and parental-authorisation rules.
What the service provides
Crate Prep estimates BPM, key, beatgrids, cues and loops locally. Grid Fix and Stem Splitter are separate selected-audio AI services. Estimates may be wrong; test results in your DJ software before a performance. Export compatibility depends on format and software version. Standalone players require the desktop import and USB-export workflow described in the import guide.
Service completion does not guarantee musical accuracy. Nothing here removes your legal rights when a paid service is not supplied as agreed.
Music rights and acceptable use
You must have the necessary rights or permission to process and upload audio. Buying a recording does not automatically authorise remix distribution, public performance or commercial use of separated parts. CueStem does not grant rights to the underlying music; obtain required licences from the relevant rights holders.
Do not upload unlawful content, another person’s private recordings without permission, malware or material that infringes rights. Do not attempt to access other accounts, bypass allowances or abuse the service. Rights or misuse reports can be sent to admin@cuestem.com; include enough information to identify the material, without sending sensitive documents unsolicited.
Prices, renewals and allowances
Current plan prices, currencies, limits and billing periods appear on the pricing page and at checkout. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew on their stated schedule until cancelled. One-time products do not create a recurring subscription. Only approve a purchase after checking the full amount and renewal details.
AI jobs consume their displayed allowances. Extra packs or upgrades require a separate purchase; a displayed shortfall is not an automatic charge. The meaning and duration of any lifetime product must be clarified in the final terms, without excluding mandatory consumer rights.
Cancelling and consumer remedies
Use the billing portal from Account to cancel future subscription renewals. The published service description states that subscription access continues until the paid period ends. Contact admin@cuestem.com if you cannot cancel or need help with a payment.
UK and EEA consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period for distance contracts, subject to applicable exceptions. Contact admin@cuestem.com with your account email and purchase date to request cancellation or a remedy. This draft does not waive that right or impose a blanket no-refund policy.
Immediate performance of a service and delivery of digital content have different legal rules. Any lawful early-loss-of-withdrawal or proportional-service-charge process needs specific checkout disclosures and express requests or acknowledgements where required. These have not yet been verified for CueStem. Mandatory remedies for faulty or undelivered services remain available.
US consumer and automatic-renewal protections vary by state. Local mandatory protections take priority over these proposed terms; no claim is made that one cancellation policy satisfies every jurisdiction.
Files, storage and account information
Keep your original music and exports backed up. Saved stems have a 14-day download window from creation and are removed by scheduled cleanup. The service is not a long-term audio backup. Local file access can require folder reselection after refresh.
Privacy requests, including deletion requests, can be sent to admin@cuestem.com. The final terms must describe account closure, service suspension, notice and any appeal process consistently with actual operations.
Liability, disputes and changes
No final liability cap, governing law or exclusive court clause is adopted in this draft. Those clauses require legal review based on the operator’s identity and markets. Nothing should exclude liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer protections.
