Everything you'd otherwise do by hand

CueStem AI is built for the hour before the gig, not for a mixdown session.

AI stem separation

Pick a track for optional AI separation into vocals, drums, bass and melody. Watch progress, preview each part, then save individual files or download a ZIP containing a named folder.

  • /Waveform player with skip back and forward on every part
  • /Each part keeps the original length and timing
  • /Refresh-safe Saved stems catalogue with a plan-based download countdown
  • /Separate opt-in service — uses a split plus audio minutes; only chosen tracks are uploaded

Beatgrid correction

Free half/double tempo corrections resnap cues locally. For individual problem tracks, drop or select audio for optional AI beat and downbeat tracking. Results still need a spot-check.

  • /Genre hint for DnB, halftime, house and more
  • /Multi-point grids for tracks that drift
  • /Halve/double, bar shift, nudge and tap tempo tools
  • /Library Step 1 completes after chosen fixes finish, or after you approve partial preparation; then Step 2 export unlocks

Smart cue placement

CueStem reads energy across 16-beat phrases and marks the moments you actually cue: the first beat, the breakdown, the drop and the outro.

  • /Cues land on hot cue slots with colour coding
  • /Rename, move, recolour or delete any cue
  • /Snap every cue to the corrected grid

Loops and sampler slices

Saved loops on the intro and drop, plus an outro mix loop chosen for lower vocal activity. Drum, bass and vocal phrases are marked as slices too. Placement is estimated; listen before using it in a set.

  • /Every loop is whole bars, starting on the beat
  • /Outro loop: 8 bars, or 4 bars at 150 BPM and up
  • /Loops go into rekordbox, Engine DJ, Traktor and Serato exports

Crate Prep for whole folders

Scan a whole USB stick or folder right on your computer — nothing uploaded. Then group tracks into crates and export.

  • /Queued one track at a time with progress, Pause, Resume and Stop
  • /Free: your first 2 tracks; Crate plan: the whole library
  • /Search and collapse scan results; rescan matched files in place without duplicate tracks

Exports on your terms

Take the prep into the software you play on.

  • /Library Step 2 exports the prepared library or selected tracks; track and crate exports are also available
  • /rekordbox and Engine DJ desktop XML import with grids, cues, loops and a playlist
  • /Traktor NML with grid anchor, hot cues and loops
  • /AlphaTheta/Pioneer XDJ/CDJ: import into rekordbox desktop, export music and playlist to USB there — hardware cannot import XML
  • /Serato (beta): grid, cues and loops written into your own files, with a backup
  • /Stems zipped as [BPM]_[Key]_[TrackName]; individual Save As in supported browsers, normal download elsewhere
